Hertford Castle 城堡： Hertfordshire 有個小城堡+皇宮 ， 就在 Hertfordshire 的郡首府 - Hertford 中！ 很多 前英 國 的君王及王室成員也在 Hertford Castle 城堡中度過了不少 日子 Hertford Castle 城堡 建於 911 年左右，由 Edward the Elder 興建 。到 1066 年諾曼人入侵時， 城堡 更加建了護城河 、 （Motte-and-Bailey）。 自 Henry II 開始，城堡多成為皇家宮殿。很多君王及王室成員也在城堡中度過了不少光陰。Henry VI 及 Elizabeth I 均也在這裏度過了他們童年的大部份時光呢！ 自都鐸時代（Tudor）以後，城堡繼而被授予給伯爵或其他貴族的成員們， 包括 約在 1800年， 給城堡進行了 部分改 建 的 唐郡侯爵 （Marquess of Downshire ） 。及後在 20世紀後期，Lord Salisbury 勛爵便將城堡的剩餘部分交還給 Hertford 市政府了。 Mayor’s Parlour - 市長 的 客廳 起居室 於特定的開放日，城堡更 免費 開放 予 大眾 入內，參觀其華麗典雅的內部裝 修 呢！ 地址： The Castle, Hertford SG14 1HR, U.K. 參觀 詳情 ： https://tsangmama3buk.blogspot.com/2021/11/hertford-hertfordshire.html Postern Gate 與 城堡 的城 牆 2.
